Truck characteristics

These values are passed to truck costing and affect which roads are allowed.

Dimensions and clearances

Height, width and length affect bridges, tunnels and other roads where dimensional restrictions are present in the map data.

Weight and axle load

Gross weight and axle load are applied on roads and bridges where corresponding restrictions are available in the data.

Hazardous cargo

Hazmat settings affect tunnels, road sections and roads marked with hazardous-goods restrictions.

VEZOO can only apply restrictions that exist in the road data. Real road signs, temporary closures, works and dispatcher instructions always take priority.

Dynamic truck restrictions

Separate from car routing

Truck routing uses a separate engine and does not affect normal VEZOO routes.
